      "0": "This small, neatly bound booklet is the journal of Sharalashikar the conjurer, known as \"Shara the Grim\" to some.  It details various experiments and projects, mostly including cross-planar travels and conjurings of extraplanar beings.  A section toward the end of the book is interesting; apparently Shara secured something known as the \"Tome of Secrets\" on a sojurn to a place called Sigil.  He had hoped to use the power contained in the book to open a permanent gate between his demesne and the Outer Realms. \n\nThe last page contains a hurriedly scrawled entry, very different from the neat rows of text in the rest of the book:\n\n\"Something has gone terribly wrong.  An entity has used the Tome to make the passage between worlds.  Was the book a trap, or did I do something wrong?  In any case, I fear that I have made a horrible miscalculation.  I could not force the creature back to its realm, even though it is not yet fully here in its full manifestation.  I would destroy the book, but its touch has weakened me, and the entity was quick to summon allies, against which my spells were of little use...\n\nThey are coming.  I can feel it.  My only hope is\"\n\nThe writing ends there. ",
