Works with the online modules of:
World of Amon
Pretty Good Character Creator

I was unable to cause my local module to give me the "manage cohorts" conversation in the PRC Options.

With a Cohort in party:

  1. "remove from party" (right click cohort, top left radial, bottom right radial).
  2. Talk to Cohort (which adds him to party and gives him several vanilla magic items, roughly for his level).
  3. Repeat 1 & 2 several times. Equipping, on the cohort, any items that you want dropped for your own use.
  4. Arrange nearly full (possibly completely full) inventory so that no slots are open enough to accommodate the items to be dropped.
  5. Unequip items on cohort and they fall to the ground.

All items spawned into the cohorts inventory are flagged as stolen and undroppable, but you can exploit past that.

I personally procured a set of Boots of Speed off of my lvl 14 cohort. (just to prove that it works)
